WINTER LOJ TRIP 2009

February 19-22, 2009

Our annual ADK Winter Loj Trip begins Thursday, February 19th through Sunday, February 22nd. We are all looking forward to another fun filled and exciting Winter get away. Friends will gather together in the great room around the glowing fire after hiking, skiing, or relaxing the day away. The weekend is guaranteed to be another great Adirondack Adventure!

To make our annual trip even more inviting the Genesee Valley Chapter has reserved the entire Loj as own special Winter retreat. Friday evening we will enjoy a bonfire with mulled wine and song. Saturday evening we have an exciting musical group entertaining guests at the HPIC, Annie and the Hedonists. Here's what Albany's Metroland news weekly has to say about Annie and the Hedonists:

This is a wonderful Winter get away which includes three nights of lodging, three breakfasts, dinners Friday and Saturday evenings and gratuity for the Loj staff. I will be asking participants to bring your favorite snack or hors d'oeuvre for the evening get togethers. Non-alcoholic breverages are included. Beer and wine will be offered at a cash bar by the Loj staff between 5-9 PM. Trail lunches are optional each day at $8.00 each.

Genesee Valley Chapter members will be given priority on reservations which are on a first come first filled basis accepted in order of date of postmark, beginning on November 15th, 2008. Reservations received after the trip is full will be placed on a waiting list. Cancellation policy is: full refund on deposit if your space is filled by another on the waiting list.

To obtain your spot fill out the form below, it can be used for one individual or a couple. Please include your deposit check of $95.00 per person made payable to "Genesee Valley Chapter- ADK".

Rates for 2009 are as follows:

Private rooms (double occupancy/per person) – 5 rooms – $260.00
Family Rooms – 16 spaces in 4 or 6 person room – $215.00
Loft Bunkroom – 12 persons – $185.00
