The Picnic adds a social aspect to our club! New Members: This is a
great way to get to meet the people in your club & get to
know them better! All have the opportunity to meet and talk to the ADK - GVC
Executive Committee, get to know some newer members, and renew some older
friendships. Guests and prospective members are welcome!
Kanatota A Lodge is on Lake Road in Webster Park. It's at the shore of Lake
Ontario, so we have the lake for a view (& play) and a great park for
hiking.
What better way to spend a Spring Sunday afternoon!
Rain or Shine!
We are planning a normal ADK Sunday Hike before the picnic and a short
Casual Hike (easy to accommodate beginners or those simply short of
time) starting at noon.
Check the Hotline (987-1717) and
local hike schedule for details.
Bring your favorite DISH TO PASS!
If you have a favorite dish, please honor us with it. However, the following may help guide your selection if you don't know what's needed.
If your last name starts with . . .
=> A-H, bring a salad or vegetable dish
=> I-P, bring a dessert
=> Q-Z, bring a meat or main dish
The lodge will be open before the hike (10:00) to drop off food.
A cooler, stove top, and food warmers will be available
The club will supply coffee, tea, hot cocoa, cold cider, ice and water.
(Although disposable plates & plastic ware will be available from the club,
please bring your own non-disposable place setting to decrease our stress on
the environment.)
